TDTSA’s role is to facilitate the continual improvement of workforce planning and skills acquisition for the Transport and Logistics Industry and to provide information and assistance to Transport RTOs, to assist to keep the industry competitive in the ever changing global market. The Transport & Logistics Industry has been through a period of major reforms and will continue to feel the impact of skill shortages, new technologies, increased competition, and greater demands from customers, globalisation and continual change to regulatory frameworks.
TDTSA’s priorities are to research, analyse and consolidate industry needs into defined and effective strategies, to promote and maintain high quality training workforce development products to service the needs of all sectors of industry, offer a broad range of services to assist stakeholders involved in the development and provision of Transport & Logistics Industry employment and training, to seek collaborative arrangements with stakeholders involved in the development and provision of transport and distribution of employment and Training, to be recognised by all stakeholders as a principal authority and advisor on employment and training for the Transport & Logistics Industry and we actively promote and advocate on the present and future needs of the industry.
